Four years as Sales Director and then Managing Director of a British luxury studio, and nine years before that running sales teams in luxury travel. Somewhere along the way the part I cared most about became coaching and process: taking friction out of the work, anything quietly slowing a good team down.
It was also when AI became the thing I would not stop reading about. I started building small tools inside the business to take out the bits that quietly cost the most. Cordial is the formal version of that habit.

Twenty-five years in operations across UK manufacturing and workshop businesses, nine of them running production, quality, facilities and safety at a cryogenics manufacturer while the UK division grew by about a third.
Then Director of Operations, later Managing Director of Operations, at a luxury sculpture studio in Oxfordshire, where Jack and I worked the same problems from opposite ends for a year. My half is the quiet half: process, workshop flow, the handoffs between departments, the safety and quality systems a growing business needs but rarely builds.
